Career Coach and Owner
Tim Dugger, Career Coach, and President of Career Café, was born in Chicago and grew up in Highland, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University School of Business with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Industrial Psychology. Little did he know at the time how well that educational combination would serve him.
After 4 years with Firestone and Premier Rubber, he joined Management Recruiters of Indianapolis, where he conducted searches for chemists, polymer scientists, engineers, and sales and manufacturing management.
In 1990 he founded SearchPro Group of America, and continued conducting executive level searches for select clients nationally and in seven countries around the world.
In May 1999, he purchased Pyramids Personnel, a then 23-year-old Administrative and Managed Care recruiting firm. Renamed The Pyramids Group, the company provided Executive, Technical, Administrative, and Medical professionals to the Accounting, IT, Manufacturing, Legal and Medical markets.
After 19 years in executive recruiting and many requests from individuals seeking career guidance, Tim created Career Transition Strategies in 2000 and Career Cafe’ in 2009. Today Career Cafe’ offers Career Coaching, Personality and Vocational Assessments, Resume Writing and Outplacement Services to professionals, organizations and students across the U.S. and internationally.
When he’s not helping others, Tim enjoys spending time with his family. His passions include boating, motorcycles, racquetball, cycling, reading, attending Jimmy Buffett concerts and playing guitar and piano badly.
